ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary role of the Fresh Foods Assistant is to assist and support the Fresh Foods departments where required. Our Fresh Foods departments are Produce, Deli, Butchery, Seafood and Bakery. Some of your roles and responsibilities may include:
- Serving customers appropriately and in a timely manner
- Assisting with production of instore made products and meals
- Assisting in the day-to-day running of the department
- Packaging and pricing products where required
- Supporting in department housekeeping such as cleaning where necessary
- Comply with our food control plan and health and safety programme
